Most of my gripes about all things SP3 related resolve to how it removes so much control from the user - and seems unstoppable when it chooses to update drivers, like it or not.Īll the above being said - I would like to know if other diehard SP2 users here have made this change to the kernel file with ZERO troubles afterwards, please ?

I have in the past tried changing the kernel file to the SP3 version and got BSODs due to driver conflicts with the attendant headaches until I switched it back & repaired the damages inflicted by trying to get the drivers right for it.
